We are entering what is called in Christendom, "The Great Three Days" or the Triduum. They consist of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter morning. Maundy Thursday is the remembrance of Jesus' last supper with his friends and betrayal by one of his disciples. Good Friday we remember Jesus' death upon the cross. Holy Saturday is the entrance into the tomb of Jesus. Easter morning we celebrate the marvel of his resurrection. Please make these special services part of your journey to a holy and glorious Easter with us.
At 7:30 p.m. Thursday April 5 we will hold our Maundy Thursday service with full choir, foot washing, and the solemn stripping of the altar. On that day also our communion class (Alexa, Mairaed, & Stefano) will be recognized.
Our Holy Wednesday Supper features foods from Jesus' day which have been prepared by our confirmation class. At the end of the dinner, a simple Eucharist is shared using the bread that our communion class has prepared. Please join us for this special time.
