Book Club: An Archive
A few weeks ago Gwyn dropped by the Book Club (Thursday mornings, 10 a.m. in the conference room) and she suggested that we make a list of all the books we have read. This morning we tried, we know this is incomplete and we also voted on which books we all liked. The books that had universal appeal are marked in bold face. Now, we are a pretty diverse group and universal appeal is pretty hard to come by. These are in no particular order:
The Memory Keeper's Daughter
The Shack
Eat, Love, Pray
The Help
The Color of Water
The Same Kind of Different as Me
The Last Gift Of Time, Heilbrun (R.I.P.)
The Beekeeper's Daughter
Tuesdays with Morrie
The Five People You Meet in Heaven
Have a Little Faith
The Gift of Change, Williamson
In the Bleak Mid Winter
I heard that song Before, Clark
Population 495
Leaving Church, Taylor
Three Cups of Tea, Mortensen
The DaVinci Code
Misquoting Jesus
Angels and Demons
Changing Light
The Language of God
Evensong, Gail Goodwin
If you are an alum of Book Club and remember more titles, please pass them along!
